Reference is invited to Annual Schedule of written examination conducted by nautical branch of the Directorate.
As prescribed in the annual schedule presently Mate's Phase-I and Phase-II written examination is conducted four times in a year.
It has been decided to increase number of examination for Mates Phase-I and Phase-II so that candidates may writes examination more frequently.
Accordingly the written examination schedule is now revised and the number of occasions candidates may appear in the said examinations has now enhanced from existing four to seven times for Mates Phase-I and from four to six times a year for Mates Phase-II. The revised schedule will come into force from June 2005 (Copy of scheduled is enclosed).
