Subject: Issuance of EXN - 45

In continuation of this office Instructions to Examiners Circular No. 98 dated 29th November 2005, the Directorate has received representations from the candidates with regard to delay in issuance of EXN-45. The Chief Examiner of Engineers has now reconsidered the case, keeping in mind the difficulties being faced by the Examiner of Engineers in expediting such cases and has decided that henceforth, the Examiner of Engineers may consider granting exemption to the candidates eligible for MEO Class II & IV Part A without referring the cases to the Directorate. However, such cases are required to be forwarded for ex- post facto approval of the Chief Examiner of Engineers.
