Further to
Engineering Circular No.032 dated 10th August 2001
, and
Circular No.040 dated 21st March 2002
, regarding issuance of Certificate of Competency (CoC) and endorsement to eligible candidates, the Directorate has now received 'Hard Covers' of MEO Class I CoCs. Hence from 19th Jan 2005 all eligible MEO Class I candidates are being issued with Hard Cover CoCs.
All revalidation cases of MEO Class I candidates may also be forwarded to the Directorate immediately on receipt of the application from the candidates for issuance of Hard Covers.
At present candidates having valid Certificate of Competency (soft cover) will be issued with Hard Cover CoCs, when eligible for revalidation.
While issuing Hard Cover CoCs, page 2 of the Hard Cover is required to be filled up.
As there is no office copy of the Hard Cover, monthly returns of the issuance of the Hard Cover may be forwarded to the Directorate along with original soft cover for record.
