N O T I F I C A T I O N (Merchant shipping)
- These rules may be called the Merchant Shipping (Apprenticeship to Sea Service) Amendment Rules, 1973.
- In the Merchant Shipping (Apprenticeship to Sea Service Rules, 1960, in sub-rule (1) of rule 3 for clause (c), the following shall be substituted, namely: -
- he should have passed Higher Secondary examination with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as elective subjects or its equivalent examination with the aforesaid elective subjects or the final examination of the Training ship �Rajendra� or any other training ship or establishment approved by the Central Government or served as a cadet or midshipman in the Indian Navy;�
